SEEAI Managing and Supporting Team

Greetings from the Dean
Welcome to the School of Electrical Engineering and Artificial Intelligence (SEEAI).

SEEAI is new, being established in 2022, with two distinctive undergraduate programmes with honours, the Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) and the Bachelor of Engineering in Artificial Intelligence (AIT). These degrees are fully delivered in English and recognised by the Ministry of Education of China and Malaysia. In SEEAI, we aim to foster the highest quality EEE and AIT graduates to meet the region’s increased demand from the E&E and AI industries. We work closely with industries and agencies, aiming to bridge the gap between the academia and the industry, and we always welcome new contacts and collaborations.

Since its establishment, our school has continuously worked to strive for excellence in our programmes. We hope to all stand together to do our best to promote our school and achieve what we desire. We had our first batch of graduates in 2021. Many of them joined industry-leading companies such as Huawei, Tencent, Intel, Top Glove, etc., while some continued with their graduate studies after receiving offers from top universities in the United Kingdom, the US, Australia, China, and Japan. We aspire to continue nurturing talents in the E&E and AI fields and hope our graduates can impact the industry.

To our beloved students, I have a few words for you. First of all, I hope you enjoy your study here. We know our programmes are challenging but they are very rewarding. Trust me, no pain, no gain, 一分耕耘一分收获. Success does not come easily. You have to work hard. Work hard if you don’t want to become average. Work hard if you want to succeed in university. Keep working hard if you want a rewarding career.  Achieving excellence in academics is important, participating in student and university activities is also essential. Taking part in these activities could brush up your soft skills, such as interpersonal, teamwork, communication, conflict resolution, and many more, that you can’t find in the curriculum. Somehow, you’ll have to find a way to balance learning and socialising. The secret to success is effective time management and self-motivation. Here, we promise to do our best to guide you through the entire process. We will always prioritise you. If you face any difficulties, do contact us.

If you need further information, please do not hesitate to contact us through Contact Us page or visit us physically here on our campus. We always welcome you.
