An External Examiner (EE) and Industry Advisory Panel (IAP) visit was conducted at Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), School of Electrical Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, on 11 November 2022.
Represented by Prof. Ir. Dr. Tan Kim Geok (EE), Ir. Dr. Looe Hui Mun (IAP) and Ir. Teh Khian Beng (IAP), the visit aims to review the curriculum structure to ensure continuous improvement of the quality curriculum development.
The panels were welcomed with an opening address by Assoc. Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Wong Shen Yuong, the Head of EEE programme, and followed by a meeting session presented by the Quality Assurance Department and the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
During the meeting, feedback was given on the outcome-based education objectives in relation to the current and future needs of the industries, as well as the programme’s PEOs and PLOs performance.
The IAP panels also gave public talks titled “Smart Grid Challenges, Issues and Solutions to Accelerate National Energy Transition” and “Hi Engineers, Where Shall We Be Heading To?” in the afternoon session.
